Nestled at the end of a private drive, surrounded by woodland with views over to Loch Sunart and the surrounding hills. The Tower is a perfect getaway for couples – either as a romantic break or just as a holiday getaway. You can even bring the dog!

Directions

The Tower is situated in the small village of Salen on the beautiful and remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the Highlands of Scotland.
From the Corran Ferry: Take the Corran ferry over to the Ardgour side. On leaving the ferry turn left onto the A861 and follow this road to Strontian then onto Salen sign posted on your left. Pass the Salen Hotel on the right and take the second little road on the right sign posted ‘Tigh Margaidh Tower’. The Tower is the third drive on the left, look out for the green sign.
Please park in front of the Tower in the parking area. Your key will be in the door. Make yourselves at home and we’ll welcome you.
From Fort William: Take the A830 to Lochailort Turn left onto the A861 and follow for just under 18 miles. Staying on the A861, come round past the sharp left hand bend with a turning marked for Castle Tioram and Dorlin to the right, and proceed for 1/4 of a mile.
Go over the Shiel Bridge and at the Acharacle Church of Scotland follow the road as it bends round to the left. Continue on past the sign to the primary school, villiage shop and Cafe Tioram. You’ll pass a little lochen on the left then take the next right turn sign posted to Salen and the lighthouse.
Pass the Salen Hotel on the right and take the second little road on the right sign posted ‘Tigh Margaidh, Tower’. The Tower is the third drive on the left, look out for the green sign.
Please park in front of the Tower in the parking area. Your key will be in the door. Make yourselves at home and we’ll welcome you.
If you get to the jetty shop you have gone too far.
